CLUB DETAILS

We are a table tennis club based in St Albans, Hertfordshire.

Our aim is to provide table tennis playing and coaching facilities for players of all ages, especially young people. New members are especially welcome.

Sessions take place on Friday evenings from 6:45 pm until 8:45 pm at St Albans Girls' School (STAGS) in Sandridgebury Lane (off Harpenden Road), AL3 6DB.

The cost is £5 per person per session.

No special clothing is required except for gym shoes or trainers and lightweight comfortable clothing, tracksuits or sports clothes. No white or orange tops or jeans please, as these make it difficult for opponents to sight the ball.

Ladder Table

The ladder competition is open to all our players and continually monitors their progress over the season. Players are allocated a handicap based on their ability and past performance, and aim to reduce it by beating competitors of similar standard and so move up the ladder.

The latest ladder ranking night took place on Friday 27th September. The most successful player was Adam Elman who moved up 36 places and reduced his handicap by an impressive 5 points from 15 to 10. Good progress was also made by Milan Patel and Adam Sharp. A deserved mention also for Culum Bushell who joined Daniel Broner at the top of the table with a handicap of 0.
