We are a table tennis club based in St Albans, Hertfordshire.
Our aim is to provide table tennis playing and coaching facilities for players of all ages, especially young people. New members are especially welcome.
Sessions take place on Friday evenings from 6:45 pm until 8:45 pm at St Albans Girls' School (STAGS) in Sandridgebury Lane (off Harpenden Road), AL3 6DB.
The cost is £5 per person per session.
No special clothing is required except for gym shoes or trainers and lightweight comfortable clothing, tracksuits or sports clothes. No white or orange tops or jeans please, as these make it difficult for opponents to sight the ball.
The last club session of the season will take place on Friday 26th July in the Sports Hall. We then go into the summer break until Friday 6th September.

The Ladder competition is open to all our players and continually monitors their improvement over the season. Players are allocated a handicap based on their ability and past performance, and aim to reduce it by beating competitors of similar standard and so move up the ladder.
The last Ladder Ranking Night took place last Friday, 19th July. The results will be posted here shortly.

Some of the best young players from this club have recently been competing in the National Junior League (NJL) tournament for under-18 players which is organised by Table Tennis England.
Our A team finished 3rd in Division 1 and were the only team to beat the eventual winners.
Our B team won medals for finishing runners-up in Division 3.

The club has hosted a number of exhibitions and coaching events in the past.
One of the best was an Open Day held in 2011 when Desmond Douglas and other England internationals helped with the coaching.
